ear protectors for flies.

hi every one!
I know its very early but my thoughts are turning to the summer . I think if i do my research now i will be ready for it if and when it comes.
Im wanting to know what you all use for to protect your horses ears from the flies. Ive seen the full face thing but wondered if there was anything just to cover his ears which will stay in place. Last year we had bother with the little flies. The horse in question is fairly competant at making life as difficult as possible for me (bless)so i need something fairly robust.

Hmm I have an ear one with a fringe attached and a velcro throatlash but it never stayed on my horse - as soon as she rolled it fell off. The only mask I have found to stay on her are the shires fine mesh ones with ears.

Thanks - I had a bad weekend though so will have to be very good next week to get back on track. I have a long way to go - this is just my first goal really - could do with a bit more after that! WW good - I lost a fair bit before doing that and havent put it back on - teaches you well i just choose to ignore it as soon as I have a drink!
