Any one else competing there?

I'm there Saturday: dressage at 9.30 and have to walk the course beforehand. Got OH's hunter doing his first novice (gulp) and mine doing his first event this season. Should be a nice event though, really good going and lovely organisers.

Yes I love little downham, always good ground. Warm ups are flat and spacious. And the SJing arena is always lovely.

XC courses are all good first time courses but the SJing is usually always up to height. Its a David Merret course.

How long will it take you to get there? Should take us about 2hrs that time in the morning!!

Yes we will be too and loading the lorry so just have to crawl out of bed Sunday morning and throw horse on lorry!!

Thank you - you too

It is only 30 miles for us, really close, yipee! Dressage at 11.50, SJ 14.07 and XC 14.40.

Really civilised times and no need to walk course beforehand.

Nickym look out for us and say hi! PM me your number!

You are in the same intro section as me holly-jane i am third to go. I am jump judging on the saturday so if anyone is walking the course and wants to say HI i will be in a blue kia sportage 4x4 don't know what number fence i will be on yet. Good luk everyone and have a great day.

We'll be there early both days - and staying till late as we're jump judging - we'll have to say hi to each other Sarah! Don't know what fence yet or what car!

Are you going to the briefing at 8.30 on saturday ? if so i will see you then, i have redish colour hair but saying that it's normally under my cap so look out for someone in a cap with team shoemark on it.

Yes we are - can't miss out on the bacon rolls! We''re a family of three with fat greying mum (that's me) and beardy balding dad and freckly daughter with nearly red curly hair.

She'd kill me if she knew I'd described her as freckly!

And for any course walkers the car will probably be either a silver Skoda or Audi. We will be equipped with chocolate and mints!

I'm terrible with names and faces Thistle - I'm usually extremely shy so if I'm not being shy I'm probably too terrified to have taken in enough to recognise you!

Holly-jane - noooo - won't be there then. Will be trying to persuade bottle-fed kitchen-dwelling rayburn-hugging lamb that being out in the field with her parents, siblings, aunts and cousins is a good move. If not we'll be the jump judges with the lamb in the back of the car yelling its head off - not something that will be appreciated I fear!

No that wouldnt!! Spider isnt keen on those sorts of things!! She had a big spook and grew about 6inches when we met a field of sheep at Stratford Hills!

Well hopfully if im waiting for prize giving and it is a nice day I will take a wonder out on to the course after and see if I can find you!!
