At what age does a pups ears settles to how they will stay? Our collie x is almost six months, her ears have gone through, both down, right up left down, both up, right up, left down. The left does go up occasionaly now, but has been down for about three weeks now, so do people think this is how she will stay? Right ear Kelpie, left ear border collie :p

Sorry, but never! I have a 9 year old greyhound whose ears are 'correct' 99% of the time, until he sees a squirrel or similar.... :p

When they teeth they go 'wrong' again as well. My kelpie cross had odd years until about 9 months I think, but it was a long time ago. Like you say, odd is cute!

I find that ears will sometimes flop - say in westies or whatever where the ears are typically "up" when they're teething. You might also find the eyes water a bit more.
