depends on what are your horse's stronger points - the 1st prelim test is prelim 1 - and they technically go up in degrees of difficulty, although P7 is OK.
Prelim 7 has the least going on- I think it's only got 2 circles and the rest is either going round the outside track or changing the rein. BUT this doesn't necessarily make it easy. My tb gets bored very quickly and starts to fidget with her outline on straight lines so I find a test with more circles easier to ride as I can bend her more to keep her in my hand. I quite like p12 with lots of flexing.
Different horses for different horses innit lol

Agreed; I found P14 much easier than P13, for example, because my pony has an easier time with right canter. On most horses, I'm guessing P13 is a bit easier??
the best thing to do is to learn a few of the moves from different test and try them out. I try to look at a few test and then ride through the moves, it also gives me an idea of what my horse struggles with and I can then work on it before I have to ride that test.
This can give you an idea of what your horse finds the easiest. Sometime it can surprise you what they find easy.
