Hi,

i've owned my horse for 5 years now and would desperately like to track her history. shes unpapered, i know an approximate age, her height, and what breeding she seems to be but thats about it!

I know she was bred in Ireland, then went across the water to the UK, where i THINK she ended up at a place which is now called "hangleton farm equestrian centre" near hickstead. she was then brought by a girl who lived in HERM which is in the channel islands, then she was moved on to Guernsey which is where she has been for the last seven years.

Long shot i know, being unpapered, just frustratign not knowing more than i know!

anyone recon they could help? ( have used websites for history wanted ads, but no replies)

ANY help whatsoever would be very greatly appreciated :):)

about 8 years ago all I knew about Beacon was that he was born near the Brecon Beacons somewhere. I put a post on IH and amazingly I found someone who had known him since he was 6 months old. They put me in touch with his old owners :D Although I found out things I didn't really want to know, like they tried to back him twice and he kept bucking even very people right over his head!!!

I guess I was lucky with his unusual name, but when you think this was over 8 years ago and there were far fewer people on line then

However he turned out to be one in a million, if not opinionated and stubborn
