I want to feed from the floor, I need a way of slowing eating down. Anyone got one of these? How do you stop it tipping over? She’s barefoot so the other option is the floor feeder nets but I thought the easigrazer is better value long term.
 
I went for the Nibble-eze nets. I've only had them a few months, but they seem pretty sturdy, and cope with my cob stamping on them and hurling them round her box when she's bored. She did have a moment of "WTF???" the first time she grabbed a mouthful and the net came with it, but it only took her a few minutes to adapt. I like that she can move the net around to wherever she wants to eat. She normally has it by her stable door, but will kick/carry it to the back if the weather's bad.
 
I bought one of these and attached a zip. It's fantastic in the field, although looks like a dead sheep from a distance, when it's empty... I need to repair the zip as it was a rushed job, but as yours are also barefoot, worth considering, as the net and zip came to less than £30 and I can fit half a bale in it!

ETA: I'm currently using it in the shelter, hung around the doorway with two trigger clips - one inside the shelter, one outside. This enables the two ponies to share peacefully, as the nervous one stands outside the shelter.
 
Some people at the yard have the eazigrazer. Not sure about it though. I don’t think it does that much to slow them down, all you hear is thud thud every time they reach in to it too!!
 
Depends on what top you get. There are 2 different sizes so the smaller one does slow slightly

I must say I love mine. I only have the normal size holes as my mare doesn’t over eat. If she’s full she’s full. I use it more to know that there will always be hay in there for her to eat. It’s very sturdy and in 3 years has never fallen over.
 
Not looking to slow particularly just to keep hay from being mixed with bed. Found one 2nd hand, hoping she’s the type to eat quietly from it
 
Waste of money for me. Despite being firmly wedged in a very heavy bus tyre my horse managed to lift the whole easigrazer out when pulling the hay out. So I had to use them without the lid - I now have a set of very expensive bins!
