Well as title suggests!

I have a dressage (riding club level) show coming up and wanted to try to look a bit posh (doesn't happen very often!). But i haven't tried to plait anything in about 6 years so wondered if these would be easier????

Hmm couldn't find many threads in a search....

So what's the verdict?

IMO - don't waste your money. I bought two packets last year, took one look at the size of them and binned them. I'd stick with plaiting, even if you are a bit rusty. It's like riding a bike - you'll soon get back into the swing of doing it.

Ha ha looks like ponio will be putting up with me practising for the next two weeks!!

Anyone got any tips on plaiting?? The top of her mane is really full but the lower bit is a bit straggly due to rugs and martingale....

Practise every night exactly as you will be doing it for a show - I use mature ladies setting lotion in a little spray bottle to make the hair more manageable.
