I know of The Burn Equestrian in the Belfast area. Well, it's Drumbo area. Not sure if they do livery, I *think* they do. I know of more yards around the NI penisula.

My friend pays £50 for her farrier, but he's dear.

We have a DIY yard with basic facilities (stables, outdoor school and very good grazing) for £14 a week per pony/£16
per week for a horse.

North Down Hunt? Are they the ones down at the road that leads to IslandHill? Their hounds are good at escaping!

Be really carefull- the registered farriers are very much in demand. The yard I wqs at were paying about £35 for one who had just 'learnt' the trade and wasnt actually registered... It was a real struggle finding one to come to us (may have been the location) but the only reg one had his list of clients and wasnt taking anymore on. I think you can view registered ones on here http://www.farrier-reg.gov.uk/...
