What's the ground conditions like? Went to Malvern show ground yesterday and it was terrible certainly tested the dubarrys.

I have just heard that the Hunt Relay and all ridden comps are cancelled. Not absolutely sure but from a fairly reliable source.

Yup. Inter-Hunt Relay was cancelled and the jumping classes abandoned on Friday and cancelled on Saturday & Sunday. I don't think Anglian Water's 'Love Every Drop' stand on water saving tips did much trade!!

This is the official announcement from yesterday
"IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. Currently we intend to run the Inter Hunt Team Relay at this years Festival of Hunting on Wednesday 18th July 2012. A site inspection has been made and a new location on fresh ground will be used. Obviously with the ongoing weather conditions we will continue to monitor the situation and make further announcements as necessary. If for any reason your team is no longer able to compete, please contact nicki@peterborougharena.com as soon as possible as we do have a number of senior teams on the reserve list."
I will be at the Festival next week for sure. Drop by the mink hound ring as I will be holding leads for our huntsman..
