East Pennard Fun Ride on Sunday

Cheers, not taken B out proper XC schooling before so shall no doubt be interesting! :D

Not been to Stockland yet either, everyone sings it's praises though so may try and do some ODE's there next season :D I'm more excited for hunting again soon.

I don't know if there were any HHO'ers there, but it was a great ride. H and I must have cantered for miles, damn that ponies fit, I'm absolutely cream crackered.

The day didn't start well, as it was pouring with rain and the minute they realised I was hooking up the trailer, both the ponies got all silly and excited and bucked, reared, farted and galloped around the field for 20 minutes :(

Anyway, we got there, had a great time and got home again, all in one piece.

Next one is Badminton on the 26th. Binky, you still up for that? Hope to see some other forum members there too.

Yeah had that as a date down since about June haha! :D Hopefully will still have transport that week touchwood :D At local show weekend before too with the grey baby and my lad :D

Glad you had a fabby fun ride! :D Sounds great, though shame about the weather today.

When I got back from Neston ride last week, the next morning I was aching for Britain!

The weather on the other side of the Mendips was OK. We put our big wax coats on, as it was raining when we set out and by a couple of miles in we took them back off again :D

It was nice and breezy, warm, with a low fly count. I really hate spending the whole ride trying to swat fly's

We had fun on the four small jumps. Harry will happily clear 2'7", but was absolutely terrified of a row of hay bales with a pole on top that were about a foot high. I managed to get him over the second time, but the blue drum / hay bale jumps were an absolute NO-NO. He's such a pratt, luv him:p

Looks like the photographer got some nice pictures, I'll post a link as soon as they are up.

Fingers crossed for Badders.
