They are advertising on horse mart - just wanted to know if anyone has had a horse from them? I have just bought one and was concerned about all the negativity surrounding them.

have u had the horse vetted?? was it a independed vet? i know one person who brought a lovely horse off of them, and she could not have been more happy with the mare, had her just over a year and loves her to bits, and know another one who has had problems after the horse failing a vetting.

I know two people who have recently brought from this dealer, both horses passed 5 stage vettings and the horses are really nice honest horses. See my previous posts on this dealer, a dealer is a dealer at the end of the day, horses may be one thing at the dealers yard and something else at home this is not always the dealers fault, some people over horse themselves and blame the dealer and some people are unfortunate with the horse they buy that its not as it was at the dealers and develops something in the short or medium term. Go with an open mind try a few horses and ensure you have a 5 stage vetting form an independent vet.

I have seen some "behind the scenes" work of these dealers and its not good! They have some nice horses and you can pick up a good deal form them but you need to be experienced and know how to sort them out as you can be 99% sure it will be "difficult." They used my instructor as their "problem horses" solver...... every horse they bought that was nasty or difficult or had a "problem" such as rearing, spinning, napping or they needed breaking and were shites to handle.... they sent to my instructor to "sort out." She had enough of them using her and they owe her a lot of money!!! nearly a year on and they still havent paid up!! I know quite a few other people in the area who have had dealings with them and are owed money by them! One of my friends bought a horse from them who (incredibly) seemed genuine, was fit and healthy and even (unbelievably) passed a vetting and they tried to give her a passport that belinged to another horse! Please be very very careful about these dealers. They don't have a good rep in East sussex. If you consider looking at a horse from them please please please have someone you trust and who is VERY experienced with you!! ALWAYS get it vetted!!!!!!!!!!!
