I am absolutely crap at plaiting- each one is a different size and points in a different direction - have just given up and resorted to pulled manes - has anyone ever used Easy Plaits- are they any good for a cack-handed (ex) plaiter?

They look silly IMHO
Just hog them all

They are more fiddly i think than plaiting. Is there no one on the yard you could pay a small amount to plait for you?

there is a 14yo on the yard I am at who is amazing at plaiting. She plaits pickle in return for jumping him once, small hack once and a bit of flatwork.

In my opinion they are awful hideous things that make even the shortest thinest mane look like golf balls..... having said that I they would be ok used for dressage as a quicj fix just not for showing.

Well I think they are bloomin brilliant and am a complete showing purist/snob!

I trialled them as a guinea pig for the company and whilst they won't ever look like hand sewn plaits, are very quick and easy to put in.

I used them all winter when I took W' affiliated, he's wearing them in the sig! IMHO there's nothing worse than trying to plait a damp mane on a cold morning and practically no one noticed anyway. I had to canvas opinion and ask people what they thought and only then did people spot them. They are also useful on my fidgety youngster.

You do have to get the mane quite pulled and tidy though.
