The largest regular size is144-147mm wide by 154-157mm long, and the largest wide size is 138-141mm wide by 138-141mm long...

Am I missing something? I've never needed boots for my TB before so I've never noticed how rubbish those sizes are! He's 16.2hh with pretty average sized feet, but they're bigger than that!

Do most barefoot people in america ride midgets or something?

My 16hh TB takes Wide size 1, the size charts are VERY deceptive as by measuring her hooves they would require a much larger size!

My 17hh takes 4s on front and 3.5s on hinds, and he does have quite large feet. It did take a few years of paying a lot of attention to trim and diet, though - his feet got smaller :D as flare etc. was dealt with. I nearly had a party the day I realised he'd fit into the Gloves :D The 3.5s used to be the largest size, and were originally on his fronts - it took a bit of rubber malletting to get them on. The 4s are a better fit (and the 3.5s have a tendency to come off the hinds, as they're less round).

I agree, though - they are such good boots, I don't know why they don't do larger sizes (and I mean MUCH larger, not just adding a half size).

This has been brought up with Easy care many times. It's because they're american boots primarily designed for endurance arabs and QHs, both remound for dinky feet. For quite some time the company refused to accept that many horsrs do naturally have much bigger feet and not just flared feet. It's only recently they've started making bigger sizes. Hopefully it'll continue on that trend. None of my (non flared) horses fit into gloves :(

I'd better borrow a fit kit first, then! Here's hoping I can squeeze him into a pair :D.

WL could be tighter, but he's a real sensitive type and very tricky to keep 100% diet-wise. Flare used to be a massive problem, but much better now he's on different grass. Doubt he'll ever be completely flare free, though.

I might drop them a disgruntled email if not. Endurance aside, it's mainly the less than perfect hooves that need boots!

That's illuminating and explains why they fit my QH so well!! I still had to go down 2 sizes from my initial measurements though, once I used the fit kit. I do love them though and am thankful they work so well on QHs :)
