I took a chance on some cheap easyboots from Derby House. I thought they might be slightly small but my mare would grow into them as her feet are shrinking. How wrong I was!

Went to put them on today for the first time having warmed them up, rubber mallet on hand and expecting a massive faff trying to get them on. Nope. They went on like they were made for her! I was actually worried they may come off, as they were barely more difficult than her cavallo simples.

They looked neat, and I was pleased with the look of them. I have the wire at the tightest setting and crossed over as per the instructions, to make it as short as possible.

Off we went for a 1hr 40 mins 8km/hr hack and they were great! She did over reach a couple of times (she has never before) but I believe you can cut a bit off the back if you want to and I also think she scuffed them together a couple of times but all on all I am really pleased. Just ordered two pairs of comfort pads as I think her feet could do with being higher up in them but no rubbing at all and they never moved! Only cost me 44.99 inc delivery for the pair.

Little vid showing them in action with a sole pic at the end to show the shape of her feet.
