Does anyone use these? My gelding pulls a front shoe off every week in the muddy fields (over-reach boots dont work) because he is very active, plays hard and runs around lots! I got the farrier to remove his front shoes and bought a pair of easy boots. He is barefoot in the field and arena and seems to hack out fine in the easyboots. Does anyone use them? what are peoples experience with them? Any good for jumping and cross country?

i did use old macs with my last horse they worked fine, my new one is fully barefoot, i thought i might need them for hacking him but he's great on the roads without anything so i left it at that, mind he has got great feet. Have you tried hacking without them? if he's got good feet then why bother!

I have used them a few times the new ones with the gaitors are best as they seem to stay on better.

Have you tried the racing bands from race tack? These fit over their heels and cover the backs of the shoes. They are brilliant too!
