my bitch is in to eating coal out of our fire place does anyones dog do this. i caught the silly bitch in there when it was light the other day singed rotty not good lol

My dogs try to do it, and so do my mams, as we both have log burning fires.....I always remove any, if they do manage to get it

Yep mine love to crush on coal after it's used.

They say charcol is suppose to aid digestion? Maybe self help dogs!!

Loads of dogs do it and it is pretty harmless as is meant to prevent flatulence and has already been mentioned aid digestion. Unless the coal is dodgy or they eat tonnes of the stuff I wouldn't really worry too much!
