today i turned round to see my mini's bridle rapidly disappearing down the throat of my Sec D!! 
Seriously!
She had picked it up and had most of it in her mouth and was chewing> I had a struggle with her to get her to let it go and pull it out and its ruined!
Will be ok for leading in and out but its got huge chew marks in it and i think the throat lash is about to come off. I actually think she would have tried to swallow it! ??? Its not as if ive cleaned it with anything different to hers, saddle soap etc ???
Has anyone else come across anything like this? My mare had a real look in her eye as I was trying to get it off her,like a dog caught with something it shouldn't have!
