Once again got lured into buying on Ebay, ended up buying a job load of hoof oil brushes, hoof picks and sweat scrapers. I had the view I would sell them on as got them way under what you would pay for amount of bits I got...

Sadly I didnt think it through, Ive sold 1 hoof oil brush so far!! lol Damn it!

I also bought a size 10 Joules top, gorgeous colours however more like an age 10 :(

So go on tell me your ebay blunders ...

Not horsey but I bought a pair of jeans, when they arrived I thought they looked a bit odd, they were maternity :o

Several saddles... I also went through a wistful phase of thinking I was capable of
Making high viz exercise sheets (!) and sell them, bought loads of high viz fabric then realised I didnt know how to sew... Well
Done

I bought a lovely puffa t shirt - size 10 (age 10) :o:o

Bought a bridle for £6 sold it for £40!!

I have had a great bargain of preloved though - ariat boots (paddock) worn about 3 times for £35 :)

I bought a pair of PJ bottoms that were dead funky - when they arrived they were for a Barbie doll! :o

I bought a lovely white jug for my kitchen counter - when it arrived it was dolls house sized! :D I nearly died laughing!

... I'm not great at Ebay!

Oh a lovely pair of cream Mardy boots...new....search had gone wrong and a nice pair of size 3 boots arrived. I am a 6. Or the fantastic boots from Dume that were in the sale because they are nigh on impossible to get on. I check buyers feedback and description very very carefully now!

Too many to list! :D Most recently, some really nice (Kate Middleton style) 'flesh' coloured high heels - at least one size too big! My fault entirely!

But I have had far more really good deals and bargains! Also, I find ebay so good for getting things you can't get anywhere else - the jods I like are soooo cheap on ebay and I can't find them elsewhere.

I suppose you can always sell on the 'mistakes'!!

my best was accidentally buying a rice horse trailer.
I saw it listed with a few hours to go and it was really cheap, no bids, I figured it was going to get last minute bids as it was a bargain. Being bored I decided to put a bid on, 100% confident i would be outbid. Well the clock ticked down, i thought 'someone will bid any second.....any second......any second......' but no one did and I was the only bidder and won it. GULP
Had to talk my dad into going to fetch it the next week (as soon as i had paid to have a towbar fitted - i dont do things by half!)

However we renovated it and I sold it for double the price i paid :D

OMG!!!! how much did you pay for it hehe

I bought sofa. Cleared a space in my lounge and waited for it to be delivered. Parcel force arrived in a small van......it was a sofa cover!!!

This is the best blunder so far !!! lol

I put a silly best offer in on a car..that had a buy it now... won it straight away... That was interesting explaining to hubby that he would have to collect it... The car turned out one of the best we had and when sold it got more than we paid! :-)

Am terrible for buying things in wrong size recently got a nice saddlecraft coat I wanted a 10 but it's a 12-14 oops

I purchased a lovely vase for about £6, only to find when it arrived it was about 6cm high! My BF found if amazingly funny as I thought I had found a bargain! I returned home one night to find he had put a daisy in it! And it was still too small for that!

These are brilliant!!

I do feel for you but still... they have made me really laugh out loud!! Especially the funky pyjama bottoms - ah Barbie has good taste it seems!!

A leather girth that would have fitted a very small and slim midget pony. Didn't quite notice that the measurements were in cms, I was thinking inches...

Mostly though I've had some real bargains and have never been stitched up by a seller :)

I've also been subject to some weird feedback - all postitive thankfully! One that stands out in particular ... 'Very friendly ebay' ( well what can I say I shmooz with my customers lol) and continued to put in capitals CHOOSE LIFE .. hmm thanks for those wise words lol
