Ebay - can't get my item registered to sell

Anyone else having a problem? I am trying to sell an old saddle on ebay, but everytime I get to the end of listing my item, it asks me to click through and set up a sellers account - even though I have already sold some stuff

but - when I click the link and sign in (again), I get a message saying page currently unavailable, please try again. this has happened every time I've tried for a fortnight now

Has this happened to anyone else?

A friend said something about this today, she's sold a few things and now they are saying she has to set up an account. As far as I remember from my own ebay career I had to provide bank details after I'd sold so many things, I think 10 or so. It's a long time ago!! The help advicew bit is usually pretty good or try the forums.

If I remember rightly, a few weeks ago every Ebay member had to log in and tick the box to say if they were private or business seller and if they didnt then I think their accounts were blocked or something

Yes had the same problem and each time I tried to register it said log in wasn't successful so I closed the account, had enough of faffing about!
