Maesfen
Extremely Old Nag!
Following my thread yesterday
http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=357550
I've had an email back from the seller, quite apologetic and offering a full refund if I send it back, presumably less my postage back but I actually want to keep the saddle; it's ideal for what I wanted it for; my only gripes are it's not in the condition as described and if it had been described properly, warts and all, I wouldn't have bid for it at that price.
I've politely refused telling him this and asking if he himself would be willing to refund me towards the repairs necessary. I'm not asking for all the repair money, just a good contribution as I bought it in good faith on his description and pics which did not show the faults. If he does, I'm quite happy to leave positive feedback for him.
What would you have done?
