ebay help needed e cheques

Hiya everyone sorry to ask this again but someone very kindly told me the answer to this a while ago and I forgot.
I need help in returning someone's e cheque payment as I don't accept them as they take too long.
Do I just click on the refund link under the details of the e cheque payment transaction? The cheque has not cleared yet btw as payment was only made today.

Ok I've sorted it and yes you just do a refund and it cancels the e cheque

Sorry this is a bit late.

Be careful of doing this. Ebay have changed the rules, you can't decline any PayPal payment. You may end up with a Non Performing Seller strike if the buyer decides to report you.

Also the refunded amount will not show in the buyers account until the original clearing date would have been.
