I have a couple of saddles for sale on ebay (one of which I posted about the other day when someone stole its description!).

I've sold a saddle before on ebay to someone in the UK, and I'v restricted the sale of these 2 saddles to the UK also. But I'm being asked to open the auction to europe bidders too.

Has anyone had experience of selling saddles outside of the UK, and how much postage should I charge? I don't mind risking selling the old saddle to worldwide, as its only worth a houndred or so, but the Albion SLK is worth a lot more!

I'm a bit wary as you hear lots of fraud stories about selling to europe, and I have also heard that people can retract paypal purchases (i.e; they pay with paypal, then retract the paypal instruction once the goods are received).

ok - want to know how much it costs to send? go to www.p4d.co.uk and put the dimensions of the box in and the country it's going to and you'll get a price. They usually use DHL which is trackable and you can put extra insurance on. I send stuff worldwide all the time (but not saddles

). You can pay using paypal too.

Other courier agents are available

I am in France and have been looking for an Albion K2 for ages but can't find one that will be sent to me here. So in my opinion I think it is a great idea to post to Europe but I am biased.

Just be careful and don't post until it is paid for.
