My horsebox auction finished last night with no bids so i relisted it but decided to list it as Buy-it-now instead.

I've just had a message from another ebay use that read -

"I noticed this was in an Auction ending yesterday ... why is it re-advertised?"

I couldnt help but laugh, felt like replying with 'take a wild flying guess!'

Do people have no sense - my auction ended + no bids + relisted = it obviously didnt sell!

Sorry for the rant but some people just make me wonder! :rolleyes::D
 
I sold some breeches last week on Ebay, advertised as size 30" - I got a message from someone that just said 'Hi, do you think these will fit me?' What????
 
I sold an egg incubator, that had cost me almost £150 to get the cradle and gear etc etc...so I felt a starting price of £60 inc. postage to mainland UK was fair....

Got a message...

'Kids wants to raise quail eggs, I'll give you 40 quid Duck'....

'No'...i replied....

'Don't be a muss-puss, it's not worth much more'...

'***** off'...(at this point, in no mood to answer sensibly)

He didn't get it in the end., it went for over £100, so was very happy.
 
I put my perfectly good, old horsebox on ebay a few years ago, up for a starting price of £1000. Some bloke mailed me asking if I would take £100 for scrap!!!! he was told to go forth and multiply if you know what I mean!!

Loving the breeches one.

I asked a seller once if she could measure a top as she has listed it as 16/18/20/22, and obs that is a huge size range, she replied "I do not have a tape measure but it would be loose on a 16 and snug on a 22"- no s*it sherlock. So I asked what the label said, " medium" was the reply........ useful
