How do you think i stand?
Im looking to buy a three wheeled pram for my baby(old one broke) and found a very nice one at a reasonable low starting bid,so placed the starting bid,but i didnt want to pay anymore than that as it was quiet along way away.I got out bidded,so have just bought another one(paid for and at home now).Just got in and turned on pc to find that the higher bidder has retracted their bid,leaving me once again as highest bidder.I would never of gone out and bought a new pram if i thought this was going to happen.I dont want to end up with 2 prams!!!I have sent the seller an email explaining my position,but as yet heard nothing back.
Do i have a right to say im not going to pay for this pram,if i win it?I really hope someone out bids me soon,but there is only a few hours left on it.
 
I have tried but it didnt work!
I just cant believe this is happening.I would never of gone and bought a new pram if i hadnt of been out bid.
I never expected the higher bidder to retract their bid.
 
I know it's no help, but if you do win it, don't pay just tell the seller that you had already informed them you had been out bid etc, etc, and you no longer wanted it. They can't leave you negative feedback anymore anyway.
 
I didnt know that they couldnt leave a negative feed back.I guess they can still report you for not paying for an item though.
 
I guess im with in my rights not to pay as technically i was out bid.Its not my fault that the bid was retracted.
