Looking for some advice for my little filly.

She had some scabs appearing on her off side wither and shoulder, 'arm pit' area, both sides of her rump either side of her tail, inside of her hocks and patches above her fetlocks on 3 of her legs.

Vet has been twice and haven't really done a huge amount other tham give me some antibiotics, cream and usual hibiscrub washing instructions.

When she's been on antibiotics her weight seems to have really improved and I almost feel it's an internal virus/immune issue.

I know echinacea is very good fpr boosting immunity and helping skin infections so was going to give it a go has anyone used it for skin conditions and what results did you get?

I was also was wondering if I got the liquid form could I mix it with aqueous cream and apply it externally on the remaining scabs and any new ones appearing? Would that be of any benefit do you think?

Many thanks in advance!

I don't see how it could do any harm - just patch test first

When my boy's sweet itch was at it's worst I got through pots of aqueous cream, even on its own it will help
