can you sryinge echinacea straight down mouth ive been told to give my boy some as he has slight liver damage I know you could give pro pell plus but straight is cheaper. has anyone had dealings with this subject, many thanks.

Have used D&H echinacea and was put in the feed as it was dried. Had no trouble with them eating it!

Used HB formula for liver damage and syringed that and it must have a nice flavour as the horses waited for it and loved the syringe!!!!!!

Echinacea is a booster for the immune system and should only be fed for one month. If the horse needs it again, it should be fed one month on and then one month off.

hi i have also given dried echinacea into feed early in the year before show season for a month then again at end of year as a booster for immune system as my horse dipped these time of year and my vet advised i try and yes it worked, i know you can also get it in liquid form to go in drinking water as long as your horse drinks plenty to the correct dose, not sure its any use for liver damage would seek advice off a vet good luck,
