Eco bed? Anyone use it?

trying to find an alterantive to what we currently use(bed max) as the new horse is the complete opposite to the pony which is super clean in his stable. He churns his bed something cronic and we are doing a bale every 2 days at the moment!!

its smells and looks lovely easy to muck out but it soaks the wee up really badly it took me around 5 bails a week to keep on top of it so i changed back to shavings!

yep i use eco bale (cheaper) the same product though - use slightly more but at 4.50 a bale spend less !!

We have a mare who is very similar sounding to yours on Bedmax - have recently swapped both our horses onto Laysoft (www.laysoft.com) and it is brilliant for her - similar to Easibed but much more absorbent and creates a nice firm bed that doesn't churn/move when she box walks.

It is cheaper than bedmax and we use a bale every 6/7 days

Have tried cardboard bedding (think it was ecobed) on my gelding previously (meticulously clean horse) and found it awful
