I need to replace the posts on my horse netting fence. The wood does not seem to last long these days, so I am considering other options.
One option is the sleeve over the post so that it doesn’t rot.
Hwoever, other alternatives looks good, but I have no experience of them nor know anyone who has used the.
Any one here Come across them? Not sure if either is robust enough for Horses?

The first will only work if your netting is compatible or replaced with something that is but could work well, the second seem to be part of a fencing system and not something that can be nailed into.

I love clipex. We fenced fourteen acres four years ago with wooden posts, its not just the cost of the posts you have to add the cost of getting someone to put them in, which is huge. A lot of these very expensive posts are now rotting.
Clipex is slightly more expensive than a wooden post, but because you can knock them in easily without special equipment or a contractor you have halved the cost, plus its a lot quicker. Our garden has clipex with netting to keep the dogs in, with a line of electric to keep the ponies out, all the rotten posts are replaced with clipex, I have mains electric fencing.

Thanks Honet.
How did you knock yours in, just by hand? And, any idea how the horse netting fixes to it? The post you linked to says it does (mine is tornado), but may need adapters or a skill (brute force!?)
