Hey dont suppose any of you know anything about ecology?
i have to investigate ecological influences on the horse's activity patterns, their habitat utilasation, social behaviour and reproduction.

please help!!

Look up ecology in the dictionary. Understand the term and then THINK!!!

It does tick me off when students expect someone else to do their homework.

Thats a bit harsh......sometimes with course work, you just hit a brick wall and need a bit of guidance.

I would start with just looking at the horse and how its very presence on this planet leaves a mark - or footprint. From the ecology side of things, you are talking about impacts.

start really generally, think of a field with no horses in it - then put some horses in it and what happens. think of the affects of worm burden, plants horses eat and don't eat - i don't know your course but possibly the affects of human management of horses has on the enviroment etc. i can't remember what else you said you had to cover!

Look at the words you have in your title and start with each one and make lists under the definition of ecology as to how the horse affects each one. then link them together if there is a link etc.
