So he finally made his Advanced Medium debut losing his AM virginity! ;)

Sadly as he went up the centre line 20 hikers descended on the venue so he was initially a little tense and distracted, but as the test progressed he started to lose some tension and it got better and better with 7s for all his changes :D he ended up with 61% which all things considered was not too shabby!

So we're out again this weekend to do AM 98 (serpentine changes :o )

Here are some pics from the weekend...

He is looking ever more like an advanced horse, still some minor tweaks but improving all the time. After a blip last year when he lost the plot a bit it's nice to have him out competing again :)

He is looking amazing, so well muscled and what a gorgeous colour! So shiny too (what are you feeding him?). He makes me miss my boy who looked so like him. :). No, seriously, he looks fantastic, better than last time I saw him for sure, much more like an advanced horse. Just tell Mr.W that he is at risk of eating flies LOL! :D:D:D

Lovely to see you back on here :)

Hmmm that is a rather unattractive face he is pulling, at least his tongue is in!

He is on Alfa Oil, Equijewel, Show Improver Nuts and ad lib haylage!

You can just see his dapples emerging :D

Thank you Saratoga, it was a case of... bite the bullet and then suck it and see! He has never been 'campaigned' so tension does creep in, but we are hoping now to get some consistency!

is it very heating? I.e. am I going to be even more likely to be eating sand (which is inevitable anyway) if I feed it? :D:p

No I really don't think so, as long as they are being 'worked' they have been fine on it! As you know Arthur is a loon so he would react like a toddler drip fed E numbers on anything remotely heating!

If they are having a short break we subsitute the 'fat' nuts for fibre nuts and drop the equi-jewel to half measure.

In the snow when they were just having a leg stretch we cut the Equijewel completely.

I am always fluid with our feeding and will change it slightly from day to day to reflect workload, weather grass availability etc.

Thanks. Yes, I feed like that too. I'll see if my feed merchant can get some in for me. :D

Ahhhhhh I LOVE Blitz, he just looks amazing. 61% for AM debut is really good still, i'd be pleased with that!! Does Mr Worried still go to Emile's with him?

Two things though, firstly Mr Worried looks like he could be eating rather a lot of flys????!!!! ;) :D :D And secondly, can he see out of his hat????!!! Lol!! :D :D xx

He has a really cute face- he looks like he's really thinking about what he's doing :) Well done for the début as well :D

Maybe the tongue out was his natural fly barrier ;) as for the hat... he needs a new one he recently had his hair hacked off and I swear he has dropped a hat size!

Yes still going hoping to get some more in over the next couple of weeks. I want to take Ron but it's a very long way to go for a baby pony who is pooped after 20 minutes!

Lol!! He can't have had that much hair surely?!! :D

I know the feeling, Jups is pooped (and bored!) after about 15mins in the school (although he is lunged first). I've got a lesson on him tomorrow night with my trainer so will see how that pans out, lol!

He is a very pretty stallion isn't he?

He looks great :) Glad he's getting out and doing well.

MH has her first AM with Chunks v soon - I'd be delighted if they get 61%!! :D

MH has no worries judging by the videos I have seen! :)

he looks great! :D Very muscley and a real conker colour coat :)

Equijewel is really fab stuff! ;)

Really impressed with it!

he looks divine, clever beautiful boy :biglove:

Thank you PS :)
