Edinburgh Lasswade riding centre

Are the horses there suitable for novice riders, when they go out on trot/canter hacks? My friend can walk/trot/canter but is novice.

I know the family that run the yard, and while I can't comment on the horses personally (I've not been on the yard, I know the family through BS) I know that they do hirelings for the common ridings in the Borders so would think they have to have a selection of suitable horses. I think they have a website and I know they have a Facebook page too if that helps any. Really nice people, good luck!

Wouldn't say it's the nicest yard i've ever seen, hired a pony from them for our riding of the marches a few years ago though and they do a lot of them so i would say they have a good few suitable for a novice.

my wee sister rides there every week but she only has lessons the horses range from horses for novices to ones with a bit more spice for the more experianced rider i would recommend them however not sure what the hackign is like

I went on a few hacks with them while visiting a number of years ago and I was much more novicey then, but I went on some great two hour hacks (guided) and had a wonderful time. I rode a mare called Honey, don't know if she's still there.
