Edinburgh people! Livery?

A relocation to Edinburgh area (not sure where yet, but will be rural and within commuting distance of thec ity centre) is on the cards and I'd really like some advice on where to look for livery, decent yards, idea of prices, etc. I have 3 horses, would want DIY to include stable, not grass livery.

In fact, where to look for property would also be a help!

Any suggestions gratefully received!!

Edinburgh is a fairly large place lol!! You would have to be more area-specific. There are lots of nice livery yards around the Edinburgh outskirts so you won't be short of somewhere pleasant to keep your horses.

Am sure others have more recent knowledge - but i visited alot of places before picking this one.

Down the road from my mum and has a good reputation. If I was to take my horse down with me on visits, I'd stable him there. They are about 20mins drive outside the city centre and just off the by-pass on the south side of Edinburgh and lots of excellent hacking.

I used to keep a horse on a lovely yard in East Lothian - Cousland, near Ormiston.

Highly recommended if you can track it down (good indoor school and great off-road hacking).
