Edinburgh riding schools?

Just hoping for some advice regarding riding schools in and around Edinburgh. I'm looking for something of good quality with good facilities to bring on my riding abilities: I'm a reasonable rider but really want to improve my skills with more precise movements & higher jumps.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Would you be willing/able to travel to Fife? The Scottish Equestrian Centre near Kinglassie has great facilities and very good instructors. It's definitely better than anything I could find in Edinburgh when I was looking.

I imagine you've googled for schools in Edinburgh - I did too and didn't find much that looked very promising! There were a few that were definitely geared towards kids/younger riders and a few centres that focus on hacking/beach rides. All great of course but probably not what you're looking for.

Are you looking for lessons on your own horse, or RS horses? If you have your own horse then I think there are a few freelance instructors around who could travel to you.
