Does anyone who is the Dick vets have a refectory that is open to clients? I have to take my horse on Friday but it is a bit far to go home and back again when they will probably only need him for about 4 hours.

I don't know what refectory means, but they have canteens and a cafe.

There are directions to both on the pinboard in thr hospital reception. The biggest one is the building across the road from the hospital.

I've done over 4hrs waiting with the trailer between specialists. I dispatched dad to find food and even he managed to navigate to the canteen and back without his glasses. He didn't do as good a job reading the menu board right enough!

So basically you'll be fine. The toilet is just to the left of the reception entrance, directions on the board, plenty of substance available and a canteen to sit in.

As you can tell I've spent far too long there, fat too often over the past year. I hope that your horse is OK.
