Now the Mail have the cheek to say Edward is putting on a show for cameras by making a fuss of his dogs!

They look healthy and happy in their jobs to me. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if these pictures were taken the same day. What a non-story:

What annoys me more is that the RSPCA are apparently investigating the incident

If that's true then they seriously need to get their priorities straight. I would like to think that it's because they are bound to investigate every complaint they get and it wouldn't surprise me if some numpty read the article and reported Edward. However, as people on this forum have reported actual neglect that has been dismissed and left uninvestigated, it smacks of more publicity for the RSPCA machine.

Is it ME! but looking at the second pic down with dog on back legs in front of Edward.Edward's shotgun is not broken therefore its deemed loaded which could involve beloved pooch being parted from his beloved 'knackers' should 'gun' go orf! BANG WOOF! Yelp-someone remove dog from Edward's throat!
Chased with big stick V loss of what dogs love to lick-'give me big stick any day' says Prince's labs
Beat that RSPCA or should I say lick that

The Daily Mail p:sses me off sooo much. I keep posting snarky responses to their articles and they keep getting deleted. Wonder why?

I posted a reply to the first article, and it miraculously disappeared. I was quite polite too, I thought!

I can't really see that they will, but if the RSPCA go after Edward for something as trivial as this, they may well find themselves as the SPCA pretty quickly.

i think they have to be seen to be investigating cos of the way the original story was portrayed but i dont think they will waste too much time on it.

Yep I noticed that too, I'm sure an oversight on his part but a potentially very dangerous one if it went off!!

I doublt that it was an 'oversight' not to break the gun - HRH PE would be classed an an experienced shot so breaking the gun should come as a natiral action. He doesnt appear to be at a peg waiting for game so I cannot see any excuse not to have a broken gun. Thank goodness we don't shoot in 'Royal' circles, looks flaming dangerous !!
