Ok, so I'm moving my 3yo to a lovely livery yard just down the road from me next month.
In my 15years+ (ouch, i feel old!) of horse ownership I've always been on privatly owned or rented yards, so on my own, or sharing with one other. So moving to a livery yard (there's about 25 others there, i'm not sure if that's classed as a "big" yard or not?!) is making me a bit nervous!
Are there any unspoken rules that I should be aware of in the livery environment?
All silly things like where you can soak your hay, do you need your own wheelbarrow/fork etc or do you share the yard one, etc etc.
Just after some general advise, please?

I think it depends on the yard, where I am we share the wheelbarrow etc and it's really relaxed so apart from the obvious rules and common sense we can pretty much do as we like :). Why don't you speak to the YO/YM I'm sure they'll run through the yard rules with you :) - good luck!
