My loan pony is being sold by its owner so I am looking to buy our own. Loan pony was a quiet, 4 year old cob, got me back into riding but now looking to something a bit forward. Rode a lot as child/teenager, returned to riding early this year. I am 5.6, 8 stone. I will have a livery space in September at the stables where I ride.
Thinking of buying a Connemara, I have read people here have bought ponies in Ireland via an agent, can anybody elaborate on that? Any recommendations?
Thinking of an older pony (10-12 years old) so my very tall 8 year old will be able to ride it too in a while (riding instructor agrees with this)
