Herbs has been going great guns lately. Going realy well out hacking and not to badly in the school.
On Friday someone was telling me how lovely he is, what a nice calm pony he is and asking when I was going to sell him on. They looked shocked when I told them he was with me forever as he is never going to be sutable for a child to ride and how many adults want a 12.2hh ish tempermentle forester. (Exept me ofcourse :o )
Then on Sat when I was riding him out we were pootling along as usual when he suddenly let rip and started doing his bucky, rearing, leaping thing. God knows what it was all about. Some of the bucks were quite big and he nearly had me off afew times. I growled at him, booted him on and eventualy he went forwards. Then we carried on with the rest of the hack as if nothing had happened. :)
He's definatly one special little pony  He hasn't done it since.
Was probaly trying to see if he could get away with it again, It's a good job I love him so much, realy :D

Don,t you just love them !!........we have a 13h sec b who we will never sell. She has been a revelation............had her 5 yrs and she loves to chuck a buck in, prance and spin...........usually enthusiasm over takes her.She goes like a rocket and can throw a buck during a gallop!Jumps like a horse and goes faster the higher the jump.Very clever pony who you constantly fight with mentally. Not for a novice , ..my daughter and her instructor say its like sitting on a firework lol.

Thats why we love ponies, eh Laura!!! As for the sting theroy, it's a possibility, but prob him just being himself. My sisters big elephant of a horse is allergic to bee stings, went into anaphalactic shock. x

Yep shes a welsh sec b chestnut ...........with white sox too.......whenever you turn her out, she swings her head away in trot then proceeds to do an extended trot along the fence lines so all the other ponies know shes out !!...........tbh we would actively seek another like her shes absolutely brill.......a big show off
