Eeek mice !!

Went into our lorry today to put the tack in for pc tomorrow and there has been a mouse or mice in there !! it's eaten half of Toto's carrot (used to bribe him in with!) and pooed everywhere

, never had this problem before and can't imagine how it's got in, but Im borrowing YO cat tomorrow and hopefully she will sort it out during the night !!

I had that problem in my lorry. It climbed up throught the small hole round the sink waste water pipe! It's amazing how small a hole they can get through. Because it was winter & i didn't use the lorry much it chewed my seat, rugs, bandages etc!!

I resulted to a trap I'm afraid.

AM getting in my yard shed at the moment

so today bought 2 traps - baited with Mars Bar. Can't wait to see if I catch any tomorrow!!

Yesterday I found one dead in my horses water bucket.. felt sorry for the little guy he must have suffered

I don't want to kill any really but then again they can be very destructive , prehaps now its had a good meal of Toto's carrot it might find somewhere else to dine !! RIP your little mouse

I hadn't been in my "bits and bobs" box at the yard for months until last week when a friend went in to borrow something....and a mouse jumped out at her! On further investigation it had pulled all my cotton wool out, and chewed it all up with odd strands of hay and made a nest in my grazing muzzle! Said mouse was removed, amidst much squealing from me and my friend.
I bought a new, more mouse proof box, and a few days later set about clearing out the old box. Lo and behold, mousey had returned and was once again snuggled up in the grazing muzzle. I had a little chat to him about how he couldn't live there anymore and off he went. I took a few more things out of the box, walked to the bin, came back, and he was back in the box, and this time, despite quite a talking to, he didn't want to leave. I had to take the box outside, tip it upside down, and wait for him to decide to leave.

That was one stubborn little mousey.

I suspect he may have made his way to Loughborough sue andtoto
