just bought Fleur in and instructors very nice dressage horse who has finally been allowed back in field for last two weeks following colic surgery started basically running riot. he was being very very athletic but was slipping due to the wet grass and field being on slope.

I went to tell grooms but when I went back out minute later he stood stock still at one of the gates. Thought ok he calmed down.

5 mins later as leaving i see him walk off looking iffy behind, have told grooms again who have rung yard owner and they were bringing him in but I had to rush off. I so hope he hasn't done anything as if so he and my instructor are the most unlucky people.

Serious fingers crossed as he is such a lovely horse as well.

but i currently look like this

< shakes head> sometimes you really do have to wrap them up in cotton wool. Seriously there are times when I do seriously consider never turning my horses out again...but I know that I could never do that!
