Eeep! Getting a dog!

So, despite all my recent whingeing, today I reserved my rescue dog, the lovely max - gsd x rotate. I pick him up two weeks today, yay!

I would link to pics, but I think most of you have seen him before (sorry!) and he has now been taken off the website.

I bought him a lovely fleece blanket yesterday which me and the oh sat on all last night, which is now with max in his kennel so he can get used to our smell, then he has something to move in with too

So i need to shop for a big dog, do I go for a large dog bed, or an XL?!

Although I am nervous of a Rottiex called Max - how do you feel Toffee?

Go for XL - you will need room to sit on it when he has taken over the sofa.......

Stop hijacking him as a lab x Slinky, OP definitely says GSD x Rottie.
You will certainly need an XL bed, and I would suggest you find a decent training class, he will certainly want to use his brain with that cross.

Oh yes, at the centre today, apparently he would not be caught when let out in the big field, he obviously knows that lead and returning to handler = returning to kennel so training classes will begin order.

Piccies when he's home I think I have too much fun playing when I go and visit him. XL bed it is then, only for max though! He's just so cute yet massive and flump like
