... in five minutes!

He rang about 20 mins ago to ask if it was OK for him to come. I said yes and then rushed out to check that the gelding still had four legs! :p Which he does, so all should be fine. The breeder is a lovely chap and hopefully he'll be really pleased with how the gelding is doing. :)

Have to go. Eeeek!

I'm really relieved to say that both the breeder and his wife were very happy! :D

The gelding has grown alot since he last saw him and he was really trying to check out the gelding's comformation and how he's maturing etc... It would have been alot easier without a great big podgy grey thing being an attention whore and saying, 'me, me, me, me' the whole time. ;) :p

I've been told lots of lovely stories about Alun, their late friend who owned Carmargue ( http://www.arabianlines.com/stallions/display1.asp?func=display&resid=153&tree=557 ) and I was given a photo of the gelding when he was a yearling and a photo of his dam (a really kind, sweet mare - I loved her).

His dam. (I have often wondered whether he lets Floss get away with being so mean to him because she's grey like his Mum?)

He is pretty, bless him. My sister says that he is far too pretty to be a boy! ;)

Here's a more recent photo, although he has lost the fluff now. :)

He's gorgeous and looks amazingly healthy so I can totally see why they were pleased. What are you planning to do with him? :) x

He'll become a riding horse, he's very forwards thinking, so he should be super fun. :D

My friend has alot of plans for both him and the grey. I'm apparently going to do dressage, showing and SJ'ing with them because that's whet she does and she likes the idea of being able to go to comps with someone else... and then beating them! ;) She said, 'I don't mind coming second from last as long as I beat you.' :p

He is beautiful.

When I was buying my gelding last year I got in touch with his breeder and she was delighted (he was the only foal she had lost touch with). She came to see him and I was terrified, even though I had only had him a few weeks and so was not responsible for his thin condition at the time.

She has been lovely, sent me his baby photos, is always nagging me to show him (not going to).

Hmpph  wish my horses breeder was interested. I wrote a letter full of photos and didn't even get a reply :(.

He is a beautiful boy! I'm not surprised his breeder was happy :)

I wrote a letter full of photos and didn't even get a reply .

That's rubbish and it was quite rude to not reply to your letter. :(

PJ - horses do seem to have suicidal tendancies, so I don't trust them an inch. ;) :p
