So found on a website last night an advert for husky puppies. My OH has always wanted one, so he emailed them this morning asking for details on them, parents, age, cost ect.

Just recieved this reply: (I have never heard of delivery to your door of a dog you have never seen??!!!)

So that i can used this details and your address to make out the Change of ownership papers works in your names and address and also used the same details for transportation and delivery of your puppy to your home.An all you will have to pay is the total sum of 180 and you will pay this fee directly to the Transportation and Home Delivery Service Company.They will contact you and let you know the take off and arrival time of your female or male puppy to your home doorstep also i will like you to give me a confirmation on the date you will like to have the puppy delivered to you at your home doorstep.

Deffinitely a con, steer well clear. I'm sure there have been posts about this before. You would pay the £180 and the puppy would never be delivered.

I know! When I looked on there last night, there were a number of very similar adverts, but all for different breeds... so they are not only using Huskies as bait.

I have this persons address, email and telephone number (well what they put in the email), is there someplace I can report them as suspicious so no one gets scammed?

Yeah def a con, we had simlar emails asking for our home address, phone number and other personal details plus cash up front for 'transportation costs' when we had advertised one of our cars for sale. Slightly different being a supposed puppy! But either way all they want are your details so they can take you cash and then try and rob your house or steal your identity!

Warning to ALL - do not buy from ads which promise delivery - they 9/10 are either scammers or puppy farmers - wouldn't you want to see in what sort of surroundings your puppy grew up in?
