When your horse does this has the vet seen it and taken blood samples for testing to see how raised the enzyme levelsare when it ties up?
I am just wondering cos cos my horse had this after jumping comp and vet said enzymes only slightly raised so while tied up probably muscle cramp from compensating form other pain issues andafter xrays found arthritis.
Not saying this is the case with your horse of course just that if only slight tying up can often indicate muscle cramp from compensating for other pain and hold/moving in a way to protect this problem and puts weight on other areas and causes the cramp.......
