Hi everyone,

Can I encourage you to write to the council about the ongoing obstruction of Bridleway 126 - this is the bridleway which links Critten Lane to High Barn Road, behind St Teresa's school?

Rights of Way

Access to this bridleway has been totally obstructed since September by a housing development.

In the first instance, you can report a Rights of Way problem here. The interactive map's a bit fiddly to use, so I suggest you just describe the location, which is High Barn Road, Effingham KT24.

It would also be great if people could email the council(s) - PM if you'd like an email template and email addresses for who to contact.

Thanks!

AH x

Do the builders have official footpath diversion/ temporary stop signs up? If not then speak to the council.

I used to work in Great Bookham and I have to say it is the most agressive area I have ever been! Very militant, very little acceptance of other people!

OP I'm sure you're not like this- it's the impression I got after 2 years of trying to manage the countryside on behalf of a large charity!

Out of interest have you seen the development recently? It is a state!!! And also out of interest (I work right by the bridlepath but have never used it), has anything been done?
