I hope Sky Khan won the best turned out
So do I but alas I was not there to lead him up today unfortunately! He's not really a 3miler but the race cut right up so he took his chance.
Bless him I have so much admiration for him! He is 10yo hes been in training since he was a yearling, he runs year round, he gets maybe 4 weeks off a year and with the exception of a Keratoma that he had removed he has never had a days lameness nor a major inury. And he still wants to race! He still wants to fight and he still LOVES terrorising people on the gallops! If only every racehorse could have half the heart, soul, guts and determination he does then we would be happy!

I can confirm that Sky did indeed get the Best Turned Our Prize! The girl that took him said she made an extra special effort with him to try and make sure he looked as good as when I turn him out myself because she didnt want to let him or ne down. Bless her! She did a cracking job!

Well done that girl, how lovely. He did indeed look the smartest in the paddock. lovely plaiting including his tail x
