You guys are always the best people to ask so...

I need to source a dressage girth that is elastic in the middle for some pressure research we want to do on girths. Of course the only ones I can find are the Devoucoux and Butet ones like this that cost a fortune:http://www.devoucoux.com/devoucoux_fr/contenu/uk/boutique_uk/fiche_prod.php?fam=sangle&prod=SCE

I wondered if anyone has used or ever seen any other makes of these at a slightly reduced price? I dont mind buying from abroad if necessary.

Any suggestions gratefully received :)

Bear in mind that Devoucoux one is wholly elastic and not actually centre elastic by the normal definition - http://www.reactorpanel.com/RPstore/product.php?productid=34&cat=4&page=1 - a true centre elastic girth but very pricey! Amerigo or Prestige may make one but they wil be pricey as well. Hopefully someone will know of a more reasonably priced brand that makes one.

Kerilli - thanks so much for the offer of the elastic leather girth but we have one of these already that a colleague uses for dressage - we want to compare this with the ones that are elastic which lays straight against the horse as a colleague has done some work already with other types such as elastic ends, no elastic etc. but it is quite costly and not ever so viable buying a £100 devoucoux just for some research!
