How do you clean the elastic bit on an elasticated breast girth? My OH got his VERY muddy - I've taken the clods of earth off, but it's still filthy..... anyone found a quick and effective way of getting these clean??

I put mine in the sink with warm soapy water. I leave the leather attatchments looped over the tap to keep them out the way, let the water soften the dirt then take a nail brush or cloth to the elastic. Dry it with a towel and leave it somewhere to dry overnight - not near a radiator or suchlike. Mines has been around forever so it can't be too bad for the elastic. Hope that helps.
