Our much loved BT is 15. He's been on metacam for the past couple of years which helps to keep him a bit more mobile, he eats well and really enjoys his food and he has times when he's quite playful but generally he sleeps a lot between meals when not guarding the house from crows, squirrels and the postman! Sadly he has lots of vacant times when he just stares into space, he's completely deaf so it's difficult to interact with him unless I get down to his level, so I feel his life is a bit boring as he cant do the walks we used to do. Question is, he continually asks to go out but it doesn't stop him having accidents One last night on the carpet, one over night on the sofa where he sleeps and this morning at the back door. any tips on how to keep his accidents to a minimum whilst allowing him some quality of life. I don't want to confine him to hard floor areas unless I have to. thanks in advance and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
