Electric fencing posts,tape,solar lighting stolen-Derbyshire/South Y

'Someone' has taken my electric fencing posts, tape and solar lighting from my stables. Total value around £150, taken mid-end April.
The person who took it is a well known horsey character in the South Yorks area (pm me for name), leaves a legacy behind at every yard/farm. Moves regularly every few weeks.
Has lots of ponies, usually off meat wagon and 'shows' them.
I know she is using the stuff and I want it back, police are trying to trace her but she has done a runner from home address.
Really need my stuff back!

I mark my fence unit by scratching my postcode onto it, that will help if it is recovered in identifying it as mine, or if you make a note of any serial numbers and keep receipts, what you really need is some way of identifying it as your own if possible.

Once you have reported it as stolen make enquiries locally and see if you can find out where she has gone, then contact the police. Do you have a horsewatch in your force area, they might be able to help you find her and you can also warn others?

Love the idea of sratching in the postcode I had an mine nicked a few years ago and it's sooooo annoying...especially when you think you know who it was... Grrrr.
